Fees & Referrals
Fees for consultations are guided by the recommendations outlined by the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Fees vary depending on the referral concern. However the below basic fee structure applies:
Counselling: $180 per 50 minute consultation
Autism Assessment: $1470. Which includes:
Initial consultation session
A comprehensive assessment on all aspects of behaviour, development and history to ascertain whether the child meets criteria for a diagnosis or if there is any other alternative explanation for the presenting behaviours.
Child observations
At an additional cost, formal testing of intellectual ability and / or communicative ability may also be included in the assessment if required to assess functioning and exclude alternative explanations of behaviour. A school visit may also be applicable at an additional cost.
A comprehensive report including summary and recommendations (please allow up to 3 weeks following the assessment)
Parent feedback consultation session
Specific Learning Disability Assessment / Full Psycho-educational Assessment: $1370. Which includes:
Initial consultation session
An intellectual (IQ) assessment
Functional Assessment

Intellectual Development Disorder Assessment: $1370. Which includes:

Attention Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder Assessment: $1370. Which includes:
Initial consultation session
An intellectual (IQ) assessment
Functional Assessment
Social, Emotional and Behavioural rating Scales
A comprehensive report including summary and recommendations (please allow up to 3 weeks following the assessment)
Parent feedback consultation session
Referrals:
You do not need a referral to make an appointment, however if you wish to claim through private health or medicare you will need a referral from you General Practitioner.
Medicare offers several programs under which eligible clients can claim back counselling and assessment fees.
